GLAD Program The GLAD (Greeks Learning to Avoid Debt) Program is financial literacy program conceived by our Grand Polemarch
Dwayne Murray. Aware that many college students accumulate a great deal of debt throughout their education, GLAD is
specifically designed to help students graduated with a firm financial footing.
CARE Program Under the CARE (Credit Abuse Resistance Education) umbrella of financial literacy programs, the Fraternity
and its partners are working together to encourage members of the bankruptcy community, including bankruptcy judges,
bankruptcy trustees, and bankruptcy attorneys, to teach young adults personal financial responsibility and budgeting skills.
St. Jude Partnership With more
than 650 alumni and collegiate chapters in the United States and across the world, Kappa Alpha Psi is recognized as a major
contributer to the advancement of the African American community. In July of 2005, Kappa Alpha
Psi further demonstrated its commitment to community by partnering with the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at the
76th Grand Chapter in St. Louis. Since then, the Fraternity has had a number of
golf tournaments on behalf of the hospital, and last year presented a check to St. Jude for more than $100,000.

Guide Right Program National Service Initiative The basic concepts of Guide Right may be summarized as follows: - To help youth, especially those of high school age, in the selection of courses
leading to vocations compatible with their aptitudes, interests, and personalities.
- To assist students, while they are in training, to get started in employment, and to progress
successfully in their chosen fields.
- To assist parents
in the handling of their children by giving them opportunities to talk over their problems with those who know and are successful
in their chosen vocations.
- To afford the less fortunate
youths a respite from the drudgery of the streets, through sponsored entertainment and cultural enrichment.
- To inform youth of the values of higher education, of assistance available
for continued educational pursuits, scholarships, loans, professional counseling, fellowships, etc.; of various occupational
and professional opportunities; and of current lab or demands and the trends on the labor market, supply rewards, etc.
Kappa Alpha Psi's commitment to young people is well established, and our Guide Right efforts, both individual and collective,
can continue to serve as a mechanism to "inspire service in the public interest."
